61 Classic, American, or Ambassador? Actually it doesn't matter. You just need the brackets and a GM 10SI or other alternator. DO NOT mess with a "one wire" alternator! A standard alternator will work, and will retain your GEN light (only it will be an ALT light that says GEN now...). Easy to find instructions on the Internet...
