After looking at Tom's link, my starter is definitely different. Mine has a round solenoid directly on top and it's a separate part. Are you saying that a 69-71 starter will fix this or will I need turn the starter or do I can I somehow turn my current starter? Move the solenoid to the inner fender. Or. You may be able to rotate the starter housing. There is a notch on either the nose or housing. If you can modify the notch and rotate the solenoid out that should do to. ------Original Message------ From: Thomas Garner Sender: amc-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx To: AMC List ReplyTo: Tgarner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReplyTo: AMC, Rambler, Nash,Jeep and family Subject: [AMC-list] 2bbl intake/exhaust manifold woe's Sent: Nov 21, 2009 4:47 PM Ok.
