Seriously, I can understand not driving a car in winter weather up north, or bad weather any time, as you're more likely to have an accident or the other drivers on the road are, even in a mild rain. But the baby won't drown or melt if it gets a bit wet... it was actually made to sit out in the weather!
Not meaning to pick on you specifically Armand, I just never have understood having a car and then not even driving it much -- except in the case where it's a rare and valuable specimen. I've got a lot of sentimental value in mine, but I'm going to drive it and enjoy it -- that's what I built it for!
On the flip side, I guess you have a hard time understanding why someone would put a lot of blood/sweat/tears (and yes, love!) in a car then actually DRIVE it in today's traffic and in bad weather... combined must send shivers down your spine!!

We'll see what happens, a good forecast for that weekend out by Thursday before will make a lot of difference. If the forecast is sunny and dry I may even risk taking the white Javelin down there.
