 Ignore Jim, Jerry ( from another Jerry , in Virginia ), he forgets that AMC PUT a Porsche motor in Gremlins in 77-78, ok it was audi, but same darn thing basically. I found out it'll bolt up to a regular Porsche trans ( the AMC Audi motor ), so figure if I ever found a 2.0 Gremlin, I'd put a REAL Porsche in it, not the underpowered wheezer that AMC got and cammed wrong for the trans to boot. Something that would have "kick". Wouldn't that make for a sweet ride? :)
