Dana 60 (and Dana 53)was also used in the J20 (J4000) pickups in the rear. M715s ran D60 closed knuckle front and D70 rear. On the Audi 2.0L (also found in the last couple years of Gremlins) there is also the possible option of a Jetta diesel 1.9L used in the late '80s (sadly non-turbo) I just turned one down from a friend of mine for $1200 so she is fixing it up instead (new struts, carpet etc) and selling it for $2500. Wonder if they only used the SR4 in the 2.0L Gremlins? Would it be a Dana? yup. jeep only used the amc20 '76-'86; dana otherwise until the ex-amc15 d35 in the late '80s and mopar 8.25" mid '90s. still many d30s and d44s.
