Probably sleeve it yourself. But, if your keeping it it, why not get the new damper? I may have on off in the "bucket" in the workshop.... I can try and remember to look for it tonight. for the sleeve, just ask for a seal/sleeve kit for any AMC six, even the Jeep 4.0L used the same diameter stuff as I used a 232 damper on my 4.0L with a 4.0L cover for a while, all the sizes matched up fine. I should still have that damper in the shop. Mark Price Morgantown, WV 26508 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrac II "I realize that death is inevitable. Nice car with a locked up engine. Anyway the car is not here at home so I can't pull the balancer off it it and I won't bring it home until I have the engine ready. I think the city is still watching my back yard for any additional cars I import. I have a 6-cylinder another used balancer here at home. But it has pretty deap grooves worn by the front seal. I can have my local machine shop sleeve it or I can by a new balancer for 88.00 plus shipping. Before I do that, does anyone have a good 232/258 balancer that they would sell and be ready to ship right away?
