so, overdrive and transmission are back together. ready to stuff back in. they
checked out to be just as noted on the donor cars odometer. 15,000 miles, like
new. further inspection of my rearend however. my carrier seems like it has
moved away from the pinnion. has a fare amount of playin the r&p gears. i can
spin it fast enough with my  hand to make it make noise. i gotta figure out
what to do about it now. i dunno if i can get shims for it or not. i think
the bearing is just showing some wear on it. just needing shimmed up to
correct for bearing/gear wear. there is 64,000 miles on the car. 48,000 miles
when i got it. i dont know what kind of miles it got. easy miles since i got
it. i need to fix it quick, friday morning im suposed to be in boise with it.
