ok, so everyone saying loose input is normal, i compared to the known good
trans that just came out. it is the exact same way. same amount of play and
all. i planned to check the pilot bushing. it is the same one that was used
with the other trans. hopefully it is still ok. im kinda leaning more to the
little bit of play i have between the ring and pinnion gears. there is a
little more play that im used to seeing. not a bunch. not any abnormal wear
on any gears in trans, o/d, or rearend. no metal located anywhere. will put
it all back together, and put it on jackstands and see what i can find.
