Frank Swygert <farna@xxxxxxx> "I see your reasoning, but still wouldn't discount a 91-95 4.0L for a daily driver. I don't think the differences in the block are really that detrimental. I dod know a couple people who got good deals on Cherokees with a little piston noise because the owners were afraid something was going in them, but they put well over 150K miles on them, just made a little ticking noise at idle." *- From: Jim Blair <carnuck@xxxxxxxxxxx> The '91 to '95 wiring is excellent, but the blocks often leave a lot to be desired, especially if you go for the ponies. Wishing I'd had my camera with me at the junkyard last fall when I saw not one but TWO 4.0L blocks (both '93) with vertical breaks in them. I was trying to salvage the heads, but the bottom surface was scarred from the unequal movement. ** ~ [..cough...omg**..] ~ milnersXcoupe 1981 series50 _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
