Just fine. Seriously, they've been just fine. This drilling and ventilating drum brakes business really works. I can honestly say that 9x2.5" drilled and ventilated drum brakes (all new parts, top-notch shape) in the front of the little AMerican are just about as good as discs. I have two disc-converted cars so I do know what I'm talking about. "Just about" -- when wet they do exhibit that grabby left/right pulling that drums do when they dry out. Nothing serious, a hell of a lot less than regular drums. I've done a bunch of freeway driving in the rain, and they've been great. So there's another solution for early Americans. The mods are easy, you can do it with a $90 drill press. http://wps.com/AMC/1963-Rambler-American/Drums _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
