IMHO if the rest of the car is that solid do not glass the floors! That one "shortcut" will kill the sale should you need or want to sell it at some point. Yeah the glas repair is solid and arguably safe, but many people will be turned off by it and walk away. The problem with metal is finding floors that will fit or having them made. The industry has not stepped up to make big car floors that I know of. I looked for suitable ones for my 65. I have instead bought a bead roller etc; to make my own, then went and got myself not very able to do it.... -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrac II " I realize that death is inevitable.
