One big catch with this: slant sixes lay over at an angle (30 degrees?) and AMC sixes don't. That would make the manifold point downwards. That can't be good for the engine. It's been many moons since I had a car with a slant six but I think the block is considerably wider than an AMC six as well. I wonder how close the Aussie slant six hemi head is to the 4.0L bore spacing, bore, and head bolt pattern? -- mhaas@xxxxxxx Cincinnati, OH http://www.mattsoldcars.com 1967 Rambler American wagon 1968 Rambler American sedan ================================================================= According to a February 2003 survey of Internet holdouts released by UCLA's Center for Communication Policy, people cite not having a computer as the No. 1 reason they won't go online. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
