I think the difference is if it is shiny silver when dried. Dull is weld through plain zinc. The stuff you describe should be correct for weld-through. The ones down around 50-60% dried zinc content have paint or epoxy mixed in, not so good! For some reason we have very little in the way of farm supply stores here. I don't think I can get to the two small ones I can think of this week and want to make sure I have some on hand for this weekend and next week. rats...
