Hey, I'm sending this out to everyone cause it's got ot be an issue most of us have run into. My shop is 15 X 27' with an 7' 10" ceiling height, read as "cozy". The great thing is it is 3/4's under ground and very easy to heat. The bad, the air quality in there goes to hell in a hand basket in a hurry! Anyone have any good ideas on how I can filter some of the fumes out without dumping all my heat? I know about heat exchangers etc; but that ain' t in the budget. Right now by the time I get a little bit done, my eyes are watering and my nose is burning etc; Most of what I'm doing right now is grinding and welding fumes, is there any such thing as a filter that will trap some of this stuff? Do I just need to get a bigger heat source and dump the air outside and live with the bills? Anyoen try taping a hepa filter to a box fan? would that do any good if placed close to the work? Now, for the general grumble, Just what I need too, pull in cold outside air. I have found that the trick to keeping my shoulder pain down is large bottles of Lortab and heat. Now, what? I have to freeze it with outside air? -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrac II " I realize that death is inevitable.
