Hi Bruce, I got feedback from another member on the AMC Forum that he has 1.94/1.60 valves in his race 304 ... no notching on either. I'm waiting to hear back on his bore size for this combo. It might prove to be a very good setup for MPGs on the smaller 1.94 intake and good exhaust volume on E85 (has about 1.5 times the exhaust volume, from reading at the E85 Forum). http://theamcforum.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=6898&PID=57637 Sincerely, Greg Taylor :) <>< Rochester Hills, MI 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer "TRMN8R2" And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. I also had to make the notches in the pistons larger diameter, not deeper. As always you should check for yourself just to be sure. I took a bare head, installed the valves with a very lightweight spring that you could easily push by hand and checked them first that way.
