that's the straight scoop. i'll just add that you can drop a pre '99
jeep 4.0 onto stock amc 199/232/258 motor mounts. they make good
power stock - comparable to a 304 - and have plenty of room for more,
even emissions compliant and on a budget. there's a lot of knowledge
on this on the 'strokers' yahoo group. it's aimed mostly at jeepers
but there's car folks on there too.
