yes, I have done this swap on a Frost White 1970 Javelin. With the correct bellhousing, a different or new drive shaft, correct linkages for clutch, and a little trans mount fabricating, you got yourself a T5. Don NOT, I repeat, Do NOT machine the bell housing. It's way easier to machine the input shaft and bearing cover on the transmission. Do a Goolge search for AMC T5 swap or something and you will find a page written by Mr. John Elle.
