I think your problem may be the un-lubed pilot bearing. That's what ultimately led to the end of my using the BA 10/5 in my Comanche. It stuck engaged while waiting for a light, even with my foot on the clutch and I nearly hit the car in front of me. Finally broke loose and I drove awhile longer till the slave gave out, but the clutch didn't work quite right after that.
