I have two of those engines at home. Neither one is running. The crank and rods will fit your cast iron block. If it is an aluminum block the head will fit the cast iron block but I think it overhangs somewhat on each side. If/when you pull the head, look for corrosion under the head gasket around the perimeter of the cylinders. My understands is that poor head sealing (and corrosion) is what caused most of these engines to be retired early. The aluminum engine date code should have a "B" as part of the code I think.
