Nothing stops machine work!
I was just looking at
A. A true bolt on package, I.E. NO machine work needed.
B. try to keep it fitting within 15" stock style wheels.
C. Nice big rotor.

Call me silly.

I know there are plenty of options.
One that was a 100% bolt on, no machine work and fairly cheap and easy to get parts for would be sweet.

Anyone else agree?

I've got the plates to mount the WJ rotors, but they need to be redrilled to 4.5" 5 bolt = work.
Crown Vic, needs either different plates or the rotor resized= work, maybe these would be ideal for a 16" or larger wheel.
I saw this W100 rotors and they look pretty darned interesting so I spend $22 total for one.
No big loss if it don't work out!
XJ rotors I have are way deep in the offset. I doubt you could fit them on a drum hub.
Mine are 97 so earlier ones may be shallower.
Smaller rotor too, but not what I was looking for right now.
Maybe a bit later in the scrounging I'll consider it.
What does intrique me is that if the early XJ rotors will fit over the drum hub, maybe they will allow a nice compact disc setup near stock sizes.
   If I get deep enough into the fitting of this stuff I have everything I need from an 82 to mock up a XJ rotor on a drum hub with a 82-83 style caliper! Now wouldn't that be interesting if it would work as the rotor is the biggest issue in maintaining and getting inexpensively anymore.
   The Calipers were used up thru 87 on XJ's and Eagles, plus XJ's too.
  I also have a set of Calipers and bracket off a newer XJ then the 88 style I would like to look into.
Basically, what I'm thinking along the lines of is whay do we need to swap out hubs if we can find a loose rotor to work.? Loose rotors carry lower replacement costs and we have the drum hubs in place on 99% of the cars and they are useable as is.
