Has anyone here actually done any exhaust tuning calculations? I'm reading and RTFMing and making drawings. It's easy bench work and could get cheap results. And sound and look cool. And be cheap to make (R.M.). So the awful little 195.6 exhaust is paired 1,2 and 3,4 and 5,6. The middle 3,4 pair has a nice double-frequency even pulse spacing. Easy to tune for. After every exhaust pulse are two non-pulse intervals. Pulse, pause pause, pulse, pause pause, pulse, pause pause, ... 1,2 and 5,6 though are not so good. Pulse, pause, pulse, pause pause pause. Pairing 1,2 and 5.6 would not help; the sum would be pulse, pause, pulse pulse, pause, pulse pulse, , pause, pulse pulse, ... I'll keep reading. The intakes are conveniently one port per cylinder, if you were so inclined to do some serious band-sawing of the head to get access to them. Smooth and square and not a bad shape to this amateur eye, It would be ugly. But you could epoxy flanges for plastic runners up over the valve cover and do some decent intake. That person will not be me. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
