All the 2.8L GM V-6s used by Jeep were carbureted. Easy enough to upgrade to EFI using junkyard parts from a 2.8, 3.1, or 3.4. The good thing is that any of the three will bolt right into the Jeep. I had a GMC Jimmy that had one. It always seemed underpowered. I would much rather have a Cherokee with the 4.0L.
