[Amc-list] Fw: AMC 232 oil problems

Hi, I have a '70 IH Scout with the amc 232 in it, its got 34k original miles on it, but its not getting oil up to the top of the engine.  I've been told this was a common problem, and I'm wondering if you have any advice.  I've found a trick online that says to take out one of the head bolts and grind a section down on a lathe and re-insert it.  This is supposed to allow more oil to pass at that point.  I was also thinking about running an external line out and then back in at the top to a brass tube inside the head with several small holes.  Just wondering if you would have any advice
