If I was bound and determined I'd used a nice short solid trans mount and add the trans crossmember if it was a four point mount car. The load would spread from the tail of the trans to both the case and crossmember. You could go so far as to add a poly trans mount, but I've seen the build of the T-5 tail and main housing. I seriously doubt you would have a problem.
