I have only parted out three AMC cars, one Ambo, one Wagoneer and one 79 AMX. the AMX survives to this day. The other two cars were total rust buckets with nothing left but good motors and transmissions. Parting out a perfectly good car really isn't such a bad thing as long as the end result is not crushing what's left. Let's face it, race cars have to begin somewhere, and parting out nicely preserved cars to make them into race only cars is a very good way to save AMC iron. If that Javelin were closer to home I would go get it, after all, it would make a great race car, heck most of the disassembly is already done !!
