it has a bigger bore than the nash, enough meat for a 3.44" bore, even
by old thick-wall standards. also, i think it's a safe bet that the
motor is pretty big and heavy; the continental is comparable to nash
vintage but ~30% larger and widely used as an industrial engine, which
suggests heavy construction.
