I went to bleed my brakes today and broke off a bleeder valve. Couldn't remove the broken bleeder valve with needle nose pliers, so I pulled the wheel cylinder. In the process, I got a lot of brake fluid on the brake shoe. So - any hints on removing broken bleeder valves? The wheel cylinder has 16 miles on it. I'll replace if I can't extract, though. Also, just hit the brake shoe with brake cleaner? I didn't get any grease or oil on the shoe, and it only has 16 miles on it - so if I can clean it, I'd prefer to. And lesson learned - when replacing the brake light switch, have a friend hit the brakes so you can check for leaks. And if your pedal goes to the floor, check the last thing you "fixed". I'm happy I just drove it around the neighborhood for testing. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
