I was thinking ahead to my Navarro turbo six (next project... :-) It's a 66 or 67 block, so it takes the old six bell pattern. Clearly no stock six trans will be usable at 500hp. I want quasi-old-timey-like for the car that will be built around this motor. (First time I've ever done it that direction!) It'll be front engine, rear drive unless I luck out and find a Hallibrand rear like the #50 car. I sitll kick myself for not going into debt and buying the actual #50 transaxle. I'm still thinking tandem-seat 1920 Indy style hot-rod-ish chassis, or if a factory car, a 64 Classic stripped to the shell. The motor really deserves a nice chassis with an "A" style hood, or no hood (the motor is quite pretty). _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
