Aside from being too wide (the reason Eagles have fender flares and rims offset inwards) the Comanche axle springpads are inboard from the car's. (this is because when they built the truck, they moved the spring mounts to under the "frame" for more load capacity) I've been thinking about using the XJ D35 I have with front wheel drive offset rims (I'd have to use wheel spacers in front to use the same rims and keep alignment matched) Jim Blair, Lynnwood, WA '87 Comanche, '83 Jeep J10, '84 Jeep J10 From: "Dan Strohl" <DStrohl@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Amc-list] eagle rear end HELP/ADVISE wanted To: <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Message-ID: <03F9EBBBEEE1224F813E61CDA169C0364C6E80@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" So if the spring-over Cherokee axle fits the spring-over Eagle setup (for the most part), does that mean the spring-under Comanche axle fits the spring-under Spirit/Concord setup (for the most part)? Then again, in these parts, Comanches are about as rare as Spirits and Concords. dan _________________________________________________________________ Connect and share in new ways with Windows Live. http://www.windowslive.com/share.html?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_Wave2_sharelife_012008 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
