Greg; thanks for the info. I have collected three early 242s to do my 258 stroker engine and have several slugs left over. I'll pick out the better of all the pistons and mess around with the core 304 engine. Any advise on what to look for or do to the bottom end. My 360 to 401s I usually cross drilled and chamfered the oil passages, did an internal balance and used quality parts.
