YEah, sound slike it. SOunds like it's getting power to the duraspark
box from the solenoid "I" wire, but not from the red or yellow wire off
the harness, I think it's a resistor wire.

A clip lead from battery to coil + will make the car run if so. No
resistor that way, so I wouldn't drive like that, but safe enough for a
5 minute test.
