304 bore is too small for breathing. 360's are a cheap 56 cuin(isn't that why you stroke anyway?). I wouldn't waste a 390 crank on a stroker, trade it for a 401 crank preferably w/a spun rod since your going to cut it anyway and your 11 cuin ahead already. Plenty of NHRA class racers (and restorers too)can use the 390 crank. I'd want .000" deck (less detonation)and forged pistons (wouldn't spend all that money on a shortblock and use cast pistons).
