The one I had was not one of the blue-coated sealing types but it was a modern flat solid-composite or whatever. Did 195.6 OHVs come with those, or did Nash erm AMC simply state the old process every year? > This is ONLY MY OPINION of what to do. I guess I was thinking that the re-torque thing was in there for a reason OTHER than headgasket construction reasons. If there's no reason to believe this motor has a particular problem with bolt stretching/head shifting etc then Felpro would know. I think I still have the box of gaskets so I can compare with the "modern' part number Joe gave me and call 'em and ask. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
