Armand- Mostly, but we've been beefing up the tech and modified content lately. Still gotta keep a lotta original content to keep our core readership happy, but advertisers love to see the modified content too. As for AMC performance, I'm working on another installment in Project HMX (remember that? Yeah...), regarding that stroker 4.6L I've been building. dan Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2007 11:07:51 -0600 From: "Armand Eshleman" <aje1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Amc-list] CC Rambler To: "AMC/Rambler owners, drivers and fans." <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Message-ID: <001301c83daa$b2472200$6601a8c0@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Joe, Yeah you're probably correct in your statements. It is kinda cool though, that Glad is getting almost 700 hp out of that cast crank. Heck this motor is probably already in pieces on the dyno floor. I hate to be negative about it, but then of course, when he does abuse the daylights out of it and it shucks it's noogies for him, all the nay sayers will be harping about that AMC "junk" again. No one but us ramblers will remember that the crank should have let loose long ago like a Ford or GM cast crank would have. Did AMC cast cranks from high nickel content iron like with the blocks?? Is that why the crank is taking 700 hp?? Sad part of it is this is the only publication that is really main stream that puts in any AMC stuff when it comes to performance. I guess some jeep publications probably do, I know Hemmings Muscle Machines does too, but isn't their stuff mostly original??
