Sounds like good news! I have a guy who wants a set of standard bore pistons from one of my 4.0L shortblocks to build a budget stroker. His machine shop broke a couple of his. If I can stand the pain I may use this as an excuse to tear both apart and see if I can build a budget stroker from the remainder. If I have a solid straight block from the pair and a good set of pistons it will not take much to assemble one. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: JOE FULTON <piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx> > I had completed stripping the block in the last couple > of days and today I took the bare block and the > crankshaft to the machine shop.
