Sorry. Hit send too soon. You should already have one. The actual brand of the pump is Saginaw. (Wholly owned subsidiary of GM, I believe.) You have a 71 Javelin, right? AMC used Eaton pumps up through 69 or 70, then switched to Saginaw. The early Saginaw pumps had more of a round tank, instead of the tear-drop style that you're used to seeing. What does the cap look like? Is it the standard twist-off cap with a little dipstick attached? If so, you probably have an older Saginaw. The bracket should fit fine. I switched one a couple of years ago on a 72 Javelin. (The motor came from a 71 Matador.) If you want, the old pump is in the basement and I can snap a couple pictures for comparison.
