The only difference in all the Borg-Warner OD units is the adapter plate and output shaft for each transmission. The adpater would be easy enough to make on a mill, even a manual one if careful (Tom...). In fact, it might be easier to modify an existing adapter. It depends on how the bolt pattern for the tailshaft of the transmission lines up with the adapter, and/or if a new pattern can be drilled. The trans output shaft is a different story. The shaft for the OD is much shorter than the original and splined to fit into the OD unit. Since this is generally a hardened shaft, getting one made would be costly. The T-150 (sometimes called 150T) three speed with Laycock-DeNormanville OD might be easier to find than a T-14 w/OD, used only a few years (73-75?) in Hornets, Gremlins, and one year in the Pacer behind the 232/258. Both are pretty hard to find now though. Although the TSMs are elusive about it, the parts book does give a different part number for the 63-65 327 OD w/column shift and with floor shift. The only floor available was the Twin-Stick setup. The parts book lists one "WFGS" (With Floor Gear Shift) and one "WCGS" (With Column Gear Shift). The 327 always used the T-89, the 287 used the T-86. The 287 has a different part number for the trans. Dick Datson's books are a good source of info, but we all learn more as time goes on. Now we know that the T-96, T-86, T-89, T-14, and T-150 all had an add-on OD as an option, but apparently that wasn't known when he wrote about it many years ago.
