I got it to fit, but it's not a drop-in. Pretty much impossible to predict, there's a clearance issue with one edge of the core and the fiberglas box. Though the overall width is identical, there's 1/4" less tank and 1/4" more core on the outlet end; the core contacts the box. I fixed it by clearancing the box. The core protudes flush with the previous box surface (1/8" or so). I made a plastic piece to go over the hole, it looks fine, it's safe and neat, but decidedly not for restorers. One outlet is exactly 1" off. Otherwise, it all fits and works great. I epoxied the brackets in place. But now I have heat, with a findable $40 part. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
