You'd probably be well served to investigate flushing something through yours too!
Mine is going to get hole sawed, once I see the inside I can access the damage and go from there.
As long as the inner structure is solid I should be able to seal it up. Perhaps do an anual removal and inspection of the rocker guards. 

  I'm trying hard to avoid picking up the phone and calling about one that showed up in the local paper.
A 97 Cherokee with 67K for $3500... It's an automatic too. Not that I like an automatic mind you, just might be time for one as a daily driver. I can gaurantee that if my shoulder doesn't hurt when I leave to drive somewhere, it will by the time I get there:[
