They probably prefer to be paid in yen as it is local currency and perhaps they like rice. I'd had as much trouble with Goodrich tires, perhaps more than any overseas tires I've ever owned! I had a set of them on the Altima and by the time I finally got disgusted and pulled them everyone of them had been replaced due to bubbles in the sidewall. EVERY ONE! Note, I still have that car, it currently has 135K on it and those Goodrichs are the only tires I've had that problem with!
