There was a dealer in Covington VA that ordered 1966 V-8 Americans. They were there for a long time. Several were straight drive. Everything else he had were 6 cyl. He did it again in 1969 and got a SC 390. It stayed for months until he gave it away. --- JOE FULTON <piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > That was probably a dealer ordered car by a little > country dealer who was scared of them V8 Ramblers. > Remember, the 1966 model year had been brutal, the > second generation V8s had not been out that long and > the Javelin/AMX were still just gleams in in Dick > Teague's eye. > > Joe Fulton > Salinas, CA > --- Archimedes <Freedom@xxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > > > I don't get it. > > > > Someone ordered a two-door hardtop, with a 6 > > cylinder.
