More were destroyed by pump misalignment. The engineers neglected to take into effect forward/reverse motion of the can and put the pump up on an angle. Quite a few up in Canada were switched to natural gas. People weren't ready. My guess is the engines were beter than the care they were receiving. Local cab companies would change cylinder heads and intake manifolds converting the engines to gasolene when the injection system would fail, since the short blocks were still viable. I wonder how many injection pumps were ruined by pumping gasolene. _________________________________________________________________ http://liveearth.msn.com _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
