A: Unlike the early Rambler lower joints which would pop off when run through the potholes, leaving the driver with a buckled fender and hopefully none the worse for wear! (I've bought 2 with this problem. They get klunky enough to wake the dead and the car to get wandery, but I've never heard of one falling all the way out, which if it did, would certainly be from the inner end splitting off.
