\That's how I managed it. I had the flywheel match balanced to the
flexplate. Engine runs smooth as silk. The other problem you may encounter
here is that a 343 flywheel will not match up to a 72 or newer  crankshaft.
AMC changed the configuration of the crank flange in 72. I-6 engines are
internal balance but some of the flywheels fit V-8s. Some one here knows
more about this than me. It took me two years to find a flywheel that fit my
70 304.
