it isn't even as strong, and it isn't what i meant - nor mark i think.

many trannies are toploaders, but this is the one nicknamed
'toploader', as the other 4sp of the '60s - t10, muncie, saginaw,
np833 - are all side loaders.  it's the one i was thinking of, and
it's the family the amc t150 3sp is in; also the jeep t176/7/8.
