Someone onlist had converted an XJ tank IIRC. Not sure if it was a steel tank or plastic. I've thought about possible retrofit tanks and will likely look into on if/when my Russian made Mercedes TAT3 fails. Not a misspelling on the name, I bought it off ebay for less then $40 and it is a heavy bugger. performes flawlessly. If you see one, grab it. I think Frank S is running one now too. He may have a spare. It's and external pump. I have a brand spanking new 98 or so Grand Cherokee pump asembly I picked up off eBay years ago before I knew how they mounted. I've considered trying to find a tank that would hold it that would fit. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Jim Blair" <carnuck@xxxxxxxxxxx> > > Since I am converting my '82 Spirit to EFI, and the current tank is heavily > rusted inside, I was looking for a replacement tank to put in.
