Lats summer a guy was told by a house manager for theater group using our theater to "go ahead and back the handicap van up close to the front door on the sidewalk". Well the driver backed clear up to the door and took out a light pole! When DPS showed up the offier asked the driver what he was doing on the sidewalk. The driver said "he told me it was OK" pointing at the house manager. The officer repeated, "What were you doing driving on the sidewalk" Same answer from the driver as he pointed at the house manager. The officer said, " No, Your missing the point, This is a side WALK"!!! And proceeded to write him up for operating a motor vehicle on a sidewalk and destruction of property!!! I loved every minute of it. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Kelly Hardie <ramblinguy.kelly@xxxxxxxxx> > One of the delivery drivers where my wife works (Airgas, if you know > what that is) had the door damn near taken off yesterday by a kid > driving with a new snowmobile trailer two feet wider than the truck he > was pulling it with.
