We didn't touch on his suspension question. One thing that I've not seen mentioned for use in the coil spring cars is to use the lightest six cylinder coils and internal air bags to fine tune ride height and stiffness. The next step up would be to go to airbags alone. If the 62 has the same suspension as the 65 I have it looks like it would be one of the easiest cars made to bag! With the bolt on rear perches it would be simple to use the add in bags. Firestone has made thes bags for years. I don't know what life expectancy is, but if the bags starts leaking the six cylinder spring would allow a limp home mode. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
