I'm amazed at the amount a flaming these poor guys go thru on the Dakota/Durango forum overing lowering the 4X4 versions of these trucks! It's like putting a Chevy in an AMC! Wow! i've gleaned some god info, but my Asbestos driving suit is wearing thin! I'm afraid to actually sign up and post any questions! My reasons are crystal clear. same as most of the other guys that do this. Main reason is snow belt people who don't really want a 4X4, but feel the need for one. I wish one of the companies would cast up som drop spindles for the Dakota, they make them for freakin Escalades and Silveradoes. Nothing like that for the lowly Dakota, Lowly, now that's funny! I have found enough postings to see pics of lowered Quadcabs and too me they look exactly like what I'm after. Firestone makes a bolt in set of airbags overloads that will actually boost hauling capabilty too! Perfect timing as the truck is due for tires, so I can even get that right at the same time. Sorry to bore you with off-topic stuff. It's just that you guys are a lot more understanding of my strange idiocyncrasies [SP?] :] -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
