Listers,
can you help me out with some info as to where this car was built?
Spencer Shoemaker from Canada owns a 1969 Javelin and thinks it was
built by Karmann in Germany. I requested that he send me the VIN and
the door plate numbers, and here they are:

NO, It's Kenosha built car off the east assembly line. My
understanding is the Karman's have a plate
stated made by Karmann . That's a made in USA plate, and it should
say so. LRDaum
